The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, will visit Headquarters on Monday, 22 September, to address the General Assembly and to confer with Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
The general debate of the fifty-second session of the General Assembly will begin on Monday, 22 September, and continue until Friday, 10 October, in the General Assembly Hall at United Nations Headquarters.
The newly appointed United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mary Robinson, will visit United Nations Headquarters in New York for two weeks, from Monday, 22 September, to Friday, 3 October.

A retrospective of United Nations films and videos will be shown at United Nations Headquarters in New York on in-house channel 3 or 31 on Tuesday and Wednesday, 2 and 3 September. The screening will be from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
