Vince Henderson, the new Permanent Representative of Dominica to the United Nations, today presented his credentials to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

Mario Pescante, the new Permanent Observer of the International Olympic Committee to the United Nations, presented his letter of appointment to United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon today.

Following consultations with the Executive Board of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon today announced the appointment of Anthony Lake (United States) as the agency’s new Executive Director, and expressed his gratitude to Ann Veneman for her services to the Organization and her commitment in leading UNICEF for five years.
