When completed, the report will contain recommendations and summaries of the Committee's plenary and working group discussions.

19970204 The following statement was issued today by the Spokesman for Secretary- General Kofi Annan:

The Secretary-General learned with regret of the mid-air collision of two Israeli transport helicopters over northern Israel tonight, with loss of over 70 lives.
