On Saturday, 20 December, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon flew to Conakry, Guinea, the third leg of his visit to Ebola-affected countries in West Africa.
On Saturday, 20 December, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon flew to Bamako, Mali, the fourth and last leg of his visit to Ebola-affected countries in West Africa.
On Friday 19 December, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon flew to Monrovia, Liberia, the first leg of his visit to Ebola-affected countries in West Africa. Upon arrival, he met with Ebola response partners and United Nations staff working in the country.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon flew from New York to Accra, Ghana, on December 17, on his way to a visit to Ebola-affected countries in West Africa.
The United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs, under the UN SaferGuard Programme, has collaborated with the United Arab Emirates on conventional ammunition stockpile management using the International Ammunition Technical Guidelines.
On 19 December 2014, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 751 (1992) and 1907 (2009) concerning Somalia and Eritrea approved the removal of the individual specified below from the List of individuals and entities subject to the travel ban, assets freeze and targeted arms embargo imposed by paragraphs 1, 3 and 7 of resolution 1844 (2008).
