On 31 August 2022, the Coordinator and members of the Panel of Experts briefed the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 2127 (2013) concerning the Central African Republic on the Panel’s progress update submitted in pursuance of paragraph 7 of resolution 2588 (2021).
On 31 August 2022, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 2127 (2013) concerning the Central African Republic held a briefing to Member States in connection with the final report of the Panel of Experts dated 29 June 2022 (S/2022/527). At the outset, the Coordinator of the Panel of Experts highlighted the main findings of the final report and provided updates since its publication. Representatives of the Central African Republic, regional States and other interested Member States participated in the briefing and also provided their reactions to information contained in the Panel’s final report.
On 14 September 2022, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1718 (2006) enacted the amendments, specified with strikethrough and/or underline, in the entries below on its Sanctions List of individuals and entities.
