On 14 September, UN Secretary-General António Guterres appointed Arnaud Peral of France as the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Tunisia, with the host Government’s approval.
On 17 June 2020, the United Nations General Assembly elected Volkan Bozkir of Turkey as President of its seventy-fifth session, which runs from September 2020 to September 2021.
On 24 August, UN Secretary-General António Guterres appointed Garry Conille of Haiti as the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Jamaica, with the host Government’s approval.
On 27 August, UN Secretary-General António Guterres appointed Lena Savelli of Sweden as the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Ecuador, with the host Government’s approval.
