United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres today announced the appointment of Michal Mlynár of Slovakia as Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).

The new Permanent Representative of Greece to the United Nations, Evangelos C. Sekeris, presented his credentials to UN Secretary-General António Guterres today.

The new Permanent Observer of the International Anti-Corruption Academy, Jonathan Glenn Granoff, presented his letter of appointment to UN Secretary-General António Guterres today.

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres appointed Rebecca Adda-Dontoh of Ghana as the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Malawi, with the host Government’s approval.

​​​​​​​United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres confirmed the appointment of Natalia Gherman of the Republic of Moldova as Executive Director of the Counter-Terrorism Executive Directorate, following the concurrence of the Security Council.

​​​​​​​United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres appointed Nathalie Fustier of France as the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Morocco, with the host Government’s approval.  She takes up her post on 1 December.

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres appointed Olufunmilayo Abosede Balogun-Alexander of Nigeria as the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Timor-Leste, with the host Government’s approval. She takes up her post on 1 December.

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres appointed Nelson Muffuh of Cameroon as the United Nations Resident Coordinator in South Africa, with the host Government’s approval.  He takes up his post on 1 December.

​​​​​​​United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres today announced the appointment of Oscar Fernandez-Taranco of Argentina as Assistant Secretary-General for Development Coordination.  He succeeds Robert Piper of Australia, who was appointed as Special Adviser on Solutions to Internal Displacement.  The Secretary-General is deeply grateful to Mr. Piper for his dedicated service and commitment and his steadfast stewardship in operationalizing the new Development Coordination Office.
