The Permanent Representatives of the African Group and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Ambassadors’ Caucus, in association with the United Nations Department of Public Information, will open an exhibition entitled “The Living Legacy of 30 Million Untold Stories” at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, 22 March, in the Main Gallery of the Visitors’ Lobby.

On 10 February, the United Nations Department of Public Information will honour women of the Holocaust at the sixth annual observance of the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust, in a ceremony to be held in the General Assembly Hall from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The ceremony had originally been scheduled for 27 January, but had to be cancelled due to the closure of the United Nations Headquarters building as a result of inclement weather.

On 27 January 2011, the United Nations Department of Public Information will honour women at the sixth annual observance of the International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust in a ceremony, to be held in the General Assembly Hall from 10 a.m. to noon.

Two exhibitions on the Holocaust will open to the public in the Main Gallery of the Visitors Lobby on Tuesday, 25 January, as part of a week-long series of Holocaust remembrance activities at the United Nations. The International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust is 27 January and the theme of this year's observance is “Women and the Holocaust: Courage and Compassion”.

Hosted by the Naif Arab University for Security Studies, the conference is the third in a series of workshops undertaken by the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force (CTITF) through its Working Group on Countering the Use of the Internet for Terrorist Purposes. Previous meetings were held last year in Berlin, Germany, and in Seattle, United States, and explored the legal and the technical aspects of the issue.

A photo exhibition entitled “Summer Games in Gaza” will be launched at 6 p.m. on Monday, 29 November, in the North East gallery of the Visitors Lobby. This exhibit, presented by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), under the auspices of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, is organized in connection with the annual observance of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
