A high-level seminar entitled "The United Nations: A Family of Nations? A Seminar on the Address of His Holiness Pope John Paul II to the United Nations Organization" will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, 8 May, in the Economic and Social Council Chamber.

Take Our Daughters to Work Day will be observed officially for the first time at United Nations Headquarters on Thursday, 25 April. All Secretariat staff and members of delegations are invited to bring girls ages 9 to 15 to work with them to participate in the activities of the Day.
