The Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1267 (1999) on 28 January 2003 added the following individuals to its consolidated list (Al-Qaida section):

1.    ISAMUDDIN, NURJAMAN RIDUAN (a.k.a. “Hambali”; Nurjaman; Isomuddin, Nurjaman Riduan); born: Encep Nurjaman; Nationality: Indonesian; DOB: April 4, 1964; POB: Cianjur, West Java, Indonesia

SECURITY COUNCIL BRIEFED BY CHIEF UN WEAPONS EXPERTS

ON FIRST 60 DAYS OF INSPECTIONS IN IRAQ

The Security Council this morning heard formal briefings by the heads of the weapons inspections regime in Iraq, Hans Blix and Mohamed ElBaradei, on the first 60 days of their work, fulfilling a requirement of resolution 1441 (2002), on which the current inspections are based.
