The resumed twenty-fifth Meeting of States Parties to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea will be held at Headquarters on 15 January, for the purpose of electing one member of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, following the resignation of Judge Vincente Marotta Rangel (Brazil), and one member of the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf, following the resignation of Nenad Leder (Croatia).
The Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), will convene an International Conference on the Question of Jerusalem in Jakarta, at the Hotel Borobodur on 14 and 15 December 2015, under the theme “Addressing the present and shaping the future of Jerusalem”.

The Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the League of Arab States, will convene an international meeting on the Question of Palestine in Brussels, at The Hotel, on 7 and 8 September 2015. The theme of the conference will be “Israeli settlements as an obstacle to peace — possible ways forward”.

The Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People will convene the United Nations International Meeting in Support of Israeli-Palestinian Peace in Moscow, at the Lotte Hotel, on 1 and 2 July.
The Special Committee on decolonization will hold the 2015 Pacific Regional Seminar in Managua, Nicaragua, from 19 to 21 May, with a view to accelerate action in implementation of the Third International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism (2011-2020).
More than 2,000 indigenous participants from all regions of the world are expected to attend the fourteenth session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 20 April to 1 May, where Members of the Permanent Forum will engage with indigenous peoples, United Nations Member States, and United Nations agencies.
The Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People will convene the United Nations Seminar on Assistance to the Palestinian People at the United Nations Office in Vienna (Vienna International Centre) in Boardroom D of Building C on 31 March and 1 April.
