20000620A review of Cameroons legislation had revealed that most laws were not discriminatory in nature; discrimination was more de facto than legal, the representative of Cameroon told experts this morning during the introduction of its initial periodic report on compliance with the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.
