United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Madam Ban Soon-taek travelled from United Nations Headquarters to Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the morning of Tuesday, 21 October, arriving in the early afternoon at Harvard University, where the Secretary-General was to deliver a speech entitled “Securing the common good in a time of global crises”.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Madam Ban Soon-taek travelled from United Nations Headquarters to Madison, New Jersey, in the morning of Wednesday, 10 September, arriving in the early afternoon at the campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU), where the Secretary-General was to receive an honorary doctorate degree.

ACTIVITIES OF SECRETARY-GENERAL IN ITALY, 28–31 AUGUST

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Turin on Thursday, 28 August, where the following morning he opened a two-day retreat with about 60 senior United Nations officials, Under-Secretaries-General and Assistant Secretaries-General coming from New York Headquarters as well as Geneva, Vienna and Nairobi.
