Swift adaptation to ever-more perilous environments was critical to protect both peacekeepers and civilians under their mandate, the Security Council was told this morning as it met with force commanders of a number of United Nations missions.

On 26 September 2014, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1970 (2011) concerning Libya updated the entries specified below to its List of Individuals and Entities subject to the travel ban and asset freeze.

With security in northern Mali worsening and peacekeepers increasingly targeted, it was urgent for ongoing peace talks to make progress without delay, the Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations told the Security Council this morning.
