SECRETARY-GENERAL CONDEMNS MURDER IN BURUNDI OF SWISS WORKERS FROM ICRC

ISTANBUL, Turkey, 5 June -- Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali, in Turkey to inaugurate the United Nations Conference for Human Settlements (Habitat II), was shocked to learn of the murder yesterday of three Swiss workers from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Burundi. He condemns this wanton act of violence in the strongest terms.
