UN FOOD AGENCIES SAY JORDAN HIT BY WORST DROUGHT IN DECADES

ROME, 3 June (FAO) -- The Kingdom of Jordan has been hit by the "worst drought in decades" affecting hundreds of thousands of people, according to a joint report by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).

THE HAGUE, 2 June (ICJ) -- Today, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) rejected the request for the indication of provisional measures submitted by the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY) in the case concerning Legality of Use of Force (Yugoslavia v. Portugal). The decision was taken by eleven votes to four.
