KIM HAK-SU OF REPUBLIC OF KOREA APPOINTED EXECUTIVE SECRETARY OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL COMMISSION FOR ASIA AND PACIFIC

Secretary-General Kofi Annan has appointed Kim Hak-Su of the Republic of Korea as Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).

The Secretary-General arrived in Geneva in the morning of Tuesday, 4 April.
