UNFPA EMERGENCY MEDICAL SUPPLIES ARRIVE IN BAGHDAD

NEW YORK, 11 June (UNFPA) –- A new shipment of emergency reproductive health supplies, intended to meet the urgent needs of Iraqi women, arrived in Baghdad on 9 June.  The supplies, provided by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), were dispatched on a UNFPA/United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) convoy that crossed the border from the Iranian city of Kermanshah.

NEW SHELTERS FOR GAZA HOMELESS

GAZA, 10 June (UNRWA) -- The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) today handed over 19 new homes to refugee families from the Middle Camps area in the Gaza Strip whose shelters have been destroyed by Israeli forces.
