First Meeting to Consider Fisheries and Pollution Issues
The Tenth Meeting of States parties to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea this morning approved, as orally amended, an $8,090,900 budget for the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, for 2001.
The Meeting of States parties to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea this afternoon recommended that the General Assembly consider the establishment of a trust fund to help States in proceedings before the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea.
