Security Council Committee Established Pursuant to Resolution 1572 (2004) Concerning Côte d'Ivoire Deletes Pascal Affi N’guessan from Its Sanctions List

On 26 February 2015, the entry specified below was deleted from the 1572 Sanctions List and from the Consolidated United Nations Security Council Sanctions List.  The entry was deleted after the Committee concluded its consideration of the de-listing request for this name submitted through the Permanent Mission of Côte d’Ivoire to the United Nations.  The assets freeze and travel ban set out in paragraphs 9 to 12 of Security Council resolution 1572 (2004) adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations accordingly no longer apply to this entry.

Security Council Al-Qaida Sanctions Committee Amends One Entry on Its Sanctions List

On 19 February 2015, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999) and 1989 (2011) enacted the amendments specified with underline and strikethrough in the entry below on its Al-Qaida Sanctions List of individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 2161 (2014) adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.
