On 14 September 2018, the Committee updated the alias of a previously designated vessel pursuant to paragraph 12 of resolution 2321 (2016) and 6 of resolution 2371 (2017).
On 5 September 2018, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al‑Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities adopted revised Guidelines for the Conduct of its Work (“Guidelines”). The Guidelines were revised in compliance with paragraph 45 of Security Council resolution 2368 (2017), which directed the Committee to review its Guidelines.
On 31 August 2018, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1533 (2004) concerning the Democratic Republic of the Congo met with the members of the Group of Experts on the Democratic Republic of the Congo, whose mandate was extended on 29 June 2018 to 1 August 2019 pursuant to resolution 2424 (2018).
