Secretary-General Appoints Francisco Dall’Anese Ruiz to Head International Commission against Impunity in Guatemala

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has appointed Francisco Dall’Anese Ruiz of Costa Rica to head the International Commission against Impunity in Guatemala (CICIG). Mr. Dall’Anese will replace outgoing Commissioner Carlos Castresana, who announced his resignation on 7 June.
