The Secretary-General has appointed Razali Ismail as his Special Envoy for Myanmar. The Secretary-General hopes that Mr. Razali will be able to visit Myanmar shortly to carry out the Secretary-Generals good offices efforts to facilitate the implementation of General Assembly resolution 54/186.
