NEW PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE OF LIBYA PRESENTS CREDENTIALS

19970402 Biographical Note

Abuzed O. Dorda, the new Permanent Representative of Libya to the United Nations, today presented his credentials to Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

Before assuming his current post, Mr. Dorda served, from 1994 to 1995, as Assistant Secretary of the General People's Congress. From 1990 to 1994, he was Secretary of the General People's Committee.
