GENEVA, 25 April (UN Information Service) -- The Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights concluded today a week-long session during which it examined allegations concerning over 30 countries.

NAIROBI/GENEVA, 25 April (UNEP) -- The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) welcomes today's decision by the United Nations Commission on Human Rights emphasizing the strong link between human rights and a healthy environment.

Secretary-General Kofi Annan left Vienna late in the afternoon of Wednesday, 23 April, for Geneva.
