NEW PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM PRESENTS CREDENTIALS

Pengiran Maidin Hashim, the new Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations, today presented his credentials to Secretary-General Kofi Annan. Mr Hashim has been his country's Ambassador to Germany since September 1994, also serving as non-resident Ambassador to the Russian Federation since September 1996.
