Security Council Al-Qaida Sanctions Committee Deletes
Two Entries from Its Sanctions List
On 2 June 2014, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999) and 1989 (2011) concerning Al-Qaida and associated individuals and entities removed the names of the individuals below from the Al-Qaida Sanctions List. Therefore, the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 2083 (2012) no longer apply to the names set out below.

This individual had two titles: a) Mufti b) Maulana. Reportedly deceased in Pakistan on 11 June 2011.
