On 21 September 2015, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999) and 1989 (2011) approved the addition of the entries specified below to its Al-Qaida Sanctions List of individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 2161 (2014) adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations:
Emphasizing the need for continued progress on constitutional and institutional reform in Liberia, the Security Council today renewed the mandate of the United Nations mission there until 30 September 2016, continuing the drawdown in advance of that country’s expected assumption of full responsibility for security by the middle of next year.
