SECRETARY-GENERAL ARRIVES IN POLAND

19951109 The following was issued today by a spokesman for Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali:

The Secretary-General arrived in Warsaw, Poland, on Thursday, 9 November, at 2:30 p.m. local time. He was met at the airport by Minister in the Presidency Chancellory Andrzeg Ananicz and Under-Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Eugeniosz Wyzner.

ASSEMBLY ENCOURAGEMENT OF NEGOTIATIONS ON TREATY ON DEMOCRATIC SECURITY IN CENTRAL AMERICA SOUGHT IN DRAFT INTRODUCED BY NICARAGUA

The General Assembly would urge that negotiations be pursued on a treaty on democratic security in Central America by the terms of a draft resolution on the situation in that region which was introduced this morning.
