CONDITIONS ACHIEVED FOR LIFTING ARMS EMBARGO IMPOSED ON LIBERIA, FOREIGN MINISTER OF LIBERIA SAYS

The arms embargo imposed on Liberia by the Security Council in 1992 should be lifted, as the reason for its application no longer existed, Monie Captan, Foreign Minister of Liberia, told the General Assembly this afternoon.
