Security Council Committee on Liberia Delists One Individual from Its Travel Ban and Assets Freeze Lists

The Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1521 (2003) concerning Liberia decided on 23 December 2013 to delist the following individual from the lists of individuals subject to the travel restrictions imposed by paragraph 4 (a) of resolution 1521 (2003) (the travel ban list) and the list of individuals and entities subject to the measures imposed by paragraph 1 of resolution 1532 (2004) (the assets freeze list).

Unanimously Adopting Resolution 2132 (2013), Security Council Increases United Nations Mission’s Military Presence in South Sudan

Responding to the rapidly deteriorating security and humanitarian crisis in South Sudan, the Security Council today unanimously adopted a resolution which, among others, called for an immediate cessation of hostilities and overall increased force levels of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan.
