On 30 September, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will convene a high-level meeting at Headquarters on migration and refugee movements. All Member States have been invited at the highest level to the event, which will be held on the side-lines of the high-level segment of the seventieth session of the United Nations General Assembly.
With the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the international community was poised to reach higher, broader, and deeper, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon told the General Assembly today as he opened the seventieth session’s general debate.
