Following is the text of UN Secretary‑General António Guterres’ video message on the twentieth anniversary of the Anti‑Personnel Mine Ban Convention (the Ottawa Convention), in Vienna today:
NEW YORK, 18 December (Office for Disarmament Affairs) — The United Nations Regional Centre for Peace and Disarmament in Asia and the Pacific and the Government of Cambodia are jointly organizing a Regional Seminar on Illicit Trafficking and Diversion of Small Arms and Light Weapons and Other Conventional Arms and Ammunition in South‑East Asia. The Seminar will be held from 19 to 20 December in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

NEW YORK, 27 November (Office for Disarmament Affairs) — The twenty‑seventh United Nations‑Japan Conference on Disarmament Issues will take place in the International Conference Centre in Hiroshima from 29 to 30 November.
NEW YORK, 14 November (Office for Disarmament Affairs) — The sixteenth United Nations-Republic of Korea Joint Conference on Disarmament and Non‑proliferation Issues will take place on Jeju Island, Republic of Korea, on 16 and 17 November.
On 29 September 2017, the Procurement Working Group of the Joint Commission transmitted to the Security Council updated versions of documents offering practical information on the procurement channel, established by the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and endorsed by resolution 2231 (2015), for the review of proposals by States seeking to engage in certain transfers of nuclear or dual-use goods, technology, and/or related services to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
