STATES PARTIES TO OTTAWA CONVENTION MAINTAIN DATES OF MANAGUA MEETING


The Government of Nicaragua, in consultation with the States Parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personal Mines and on Their Destruction, has decided to maintain the dates of the Third Meeting of States Parties to the Ottawa Convention in Managua, from 18 to 21 September.

TO MEET FROM 8-10 AUGUST IN CALIFORNIA


NEW YORK, 7 August (Department for Disarmament Affairs) -- A group of governmental experts undertaking a United Nations study on disarmament and non-proliferation education will hold its second session from 8 to 10 August 2001, at the Center for Non-proliferation Studies of the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
