‘It Was Past Time for an Immediate and Unconditional Ceasefire’ in Gaza, United Nations Palestine Refugee Agency Chief Tells Security Council

Damage to neighbourhoods and essential infrastructure in Gaza was clear, and it was past time for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, the Commissioner General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East told the Security Council today following its late-day announcement yesterday to convene a further meeting on the situation.
