On 25 August, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 2140 (2014) was briefed by Mr. Amer Daoudi, Regional Humanitarian Coordinator for the Yemen Crisis, on his ongoing efforts to implement a United Nations Verification and Inspection Mechanism for Yemen.

On 21 August 2015, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 2127 (2013) concerning the Central African Republic (CAR) held a meeting with the representatives of the CAR, its neighbouring States and the Coordinator of the Panel of Experts with a view to discussing the arms embargo, embargo exemptions procedures and the implementation of the sanctions measures imposed by resolutions 2127 (2013) and 2134 (2014), as renewed by resolution 2196 (2015).
On 20 August 2015, members of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 2206 (2015) concerning South Sudan were briefed by the Coordinator of the Panel of Experts on South Sudan in connection with the Panel’s interim report, which was submitted in pursuance of paragraph 18 (d) of the resolution.
On 20 August 2015, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 2127 (2013) concerning the Central African Republic approved the following three individuals and one entity as subject to the measures imposed by paragraphs 4 and 7 of resolution 2196 (2015):

On 18 August 2015, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999) and 1989 (2011) concerning Al-Qaida and associated individuals and entities removed the name below from the Al-Qaida Sanctions List after concluding its consideration of the delisting requests for this name submitted through the Office of the Ombudsperson established pursuant to Security Council resolution 1904 (2009), and after considering the Comprehensive Report of the Ombudsperson on this delisting request.

On 17 August 2015, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999) and 1989 (2011) enacted the amendments specified with underline in the entries below on its Al-Qaida Sanctions List of individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 2161 (2014) adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.
