The following Security Council press statement was issued today by Council President Christoph Heusgen (Germany):
On 22 April 2019, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al‑Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities removed the entry below from its ISIL (Da’esh) and Al‑Qaida Sanctions List.
On 18 April 2019, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 2127 (2013) concerning the Central African Republic enacted the amendments specified with underline in the entry below on its Sanctions List of individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze and travel ban set out in paragraphs 9 and 16 of Security Council resolution 2399 (2018) as renewed by resolution 2454 (2019), adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.

The following Security Council press statement was issued today by Council President Christoph Heusgen (Germany):
On 13 April 2019, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida, and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities removed the entry below from its ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List. The entry was deleted after the Committee concluded its consideration of the delisting request for this name submitted by the designating State following the 2017 Annual Review conducted in accordance with paragraphs 80 and 81 of resolution 2253 (2015).
On 29 March 2019, the Panel of Experts on South Sudan briefed the members of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 2206 (2015) in connection with the Panel’s final report, which was submitted in pursuance of paragraph 19 (e) of resolution 2428 (2018).
