United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Paris from New York, in the early morning of Friday, 3 June, to take part in a French ministerial conference meeting on the Middle East.

On Thursday evening, 26 May, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, with Madam Ban Soon-taek, arrived in Nagoya, Japan, from Jeju Island in the Republic of Korea.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived on Jeju Island on Wednesday afternoon, 25 May, coming directly from Istanbul, where he had attended the first World Humanitarian Summit.
