Secretary-General appoints jan pronk special representative for sudan
The Secretary-General has decided to appoint Jan Pronk as his Special Representative for the Sudan and head of the peace support operation that may be authorized following a Comprehensive Peace Agreement between the Government of the Sudan and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement/Army. The appointment is effective 18 June 2004.
