United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Israel from Egypt on Saturday, 24 March. He was greeted upon arrival by Israel’s Minister for Defence, Amir Peretz. After making brief remarks at Ben Gurion airport, the Secretary-General travelled to his hotel in Jerusalem.
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Cairo early in the afternoon of Friday, 23 March.
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon made a one-day visit to Iraq, which was previously unannounced, where he met with Prime Minister Nouri Kamel al-Maliki to discuss the United Nations commitment to help the people of Iraq.
