Following is the joint statement of the members of the Millennium Development Goals Africa Steering Group issued today following its meeting in New York:
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Sirte, Libya, from the Chadian capital N’Djamena on Saturday, 8 September.
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in N’Djamena from Khartoum on Friday, 7 September.
After a three-day retreat for Under-Secretaries-General and Assistant Secretaries-General of the United Nations system at the United Nations staff college in Turin, Italy, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon flew to Khartoum on Monday, 3 September, to begin his first official visit to the Sudan in his current capacity.
