United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Washington, D.C., on 26 November, to attend a meeting of the principal members of the Quartet, before travelling onward to Annapolis, Maryland, to participate in the conference there on Middle East peace.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived from Beirut early in the evening of Friday, 16 November, in Valencia, Spain.
