ASSEMBLY PRESIDENT GRATIFIED BY AWARDING OF NOBEL PEACE PRIZE TO 'INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGN TO BAN LANDMINES'

The President of the General Assembly has been gratified to learn that the International Campaign to Ban Landmines was awarded the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize.
