Monitoring deep-water fish stocks off WestAfricancoast -- Countries

ROME, 31 May (FAO) -- A regional fishing body of the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) has decided that its members should begin reporting on capture levels of non-tuna species taken in high-seas waters off the western coast of Africa.

UNITED NATIONS RESPONDS TO MYANMAR STORM

NEW YORK, 28 May (OCHA) -- United Nations agencies in Myanmar are providing immediate assistance to people affected by the recent storm that hit four villages in Myanmar.  The storm was the worst since 1968.
