On 25 August 2004, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1521 (2003) concerning Liberia decided to add the following three individuals to the list of individuals and entities subject to the measures contained in paragraph 1 of security Council resolution 1532 (2004) (the Assets Freeze list):

Ms. Grace Minor

Mr. Edwin Snowe

The Committee further decided to update the Passport Number field for the following individual who is included on the Assets Freeze list:  Mrs. Jewel Howard-Taylor

UN Appeals for More Funds to Meet Most Urgent Humanitarian Needs in Sudan

STAVANGER/NAIROBI, 24 August (UNEP) -- Overfishing of cod and haddock, nuclear waste storage, the invasion of the red king crab and a projected six-fold increase in oil and gas transportation are some of the issues threatening the unique Barents Sea Arctic ecosystem, scientists are warning.
