The Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 2206 (2015) concerning South Sudan has been made aware of a document purporting to be an addendum to the final report of the Panel of Experts on South Sudan, discussing recent violence in Maiwut and Leer (Unity State).

On 18 June, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres appointed Pauline Tamesis of the Philippines as the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Viet Nam, with the host Government’s approval.
