DISABILITY CONVENTION COMMITTEE STRUGGLES TO CONCLUDE TREATY


The General Assembly Ad Hoc Committee finalizing the first Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities today spent most of the morning in informal consultations, trying to resolve some of the most controversial issues.
