On 12 July 2010, the Committee approved the changes specified with strikethrough and underline in the two entries below to its Consolidated List of individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 1904 (2009) adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.

The exhibition “Climate Faces — Changing Earth, Changing Lives”, now on display in the Main Gallery of the Visitors Lobby of United Nations Headquarters, will be opened formally in a 6 p.m. ceremony on Wednesday, 14 July.

The United Nations is concerned that fraudulent correspondence using the Organization’s name and emblem is circulating worldwide via websites, e-mails, fax messages and phone calls. As the number of reported fraudulent cases increases around the world, the United Nations is warning the public about illicit schemes to solicit money and, in many cases, personal information from private individuals, using the United Nations name and emblem.
