At its thirty-fourth meeting on 5 October 2012, the Security Council Working Group on Children and Armed Conflict agreed, in connection with the examination of the fourth report of the Secretary-General on children and armed conflict in the Sudan (document S/2012/413), to address the following message to all the parties to the armed conflict in the Sudan mentioned in the report of the Secretary-General through a public statement by its Chair:

On 12 November 2012, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1533 (2004) concerning the Democratic Republic of the Congo added the following individual to the List of Individuals and Entities Subject to the Measures Imposed by paragraphs 13 and 15 of resolution 1596 (2005).

An exhibition commemorating the sixtieth anniversary of guided tours opens in the Main Gallery of the Visitors Lobby on Thursday, 15 November, at 5 p.m. Senior United Nations officials, delegates, civil society and a large number of former and current tour guides will attend the event.
