On 21 April 2014, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1591 (2005) concerning Sudan approved the updates, as underlined below, to two existing entries on its List of Individuals Subject to the Travel Ban and Assets Freeze.

A total of 60 college and university students from 26 countries have been invited to attend a youth forum at United Nations Headquarters on 27 June to discuss the role of multilingualism in a globalized world. They are winners of an international essay contest organized by the ELS Educational Services, Inc., and United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) of the world body’s Department of Public Information.
